Buyer Beware!
It can feel OVERWHELMING when you are looking for a Contractor you can TRUST. Please read on as a word of caution.
Homeowners can be held LIABLE for injuries of an unlicensed "con"tractor or "handyman" working on their property if the person does not have Liability Insurance!
A Homeowner can be SUED for Medical bills and Lost Wages if the uninsured gets hurt and the Homeowners Insurance premiums can skyrocket!
That's why R3~Repair, Restore, Remodel LLC - We will do it RIGHT!

Do not be tempted by unlicensed people willing to give you a low-ball price. R3~Repair is backed by a Michigan Builder's License, Liability Insurance and a Dishonesty Bond to PROTECT YOU~
If your HOMEOWNER'S Insurance will have to pay for the losses~ Think of what that will do for your premiums!
*Unlicensed handymen CANNOT obtain Building Permits, so NO inspections will be done and the work may NOT be TO CODE. It's a BAD deal that may cost you more than you know!
To the Unlicensed "Con"tractor:
The penalty for working without a License in Michigan resulting in Negligence that leads to injury or death is punishable by up to 4 years in prison and $25,000 fine
(Occupational Code P.A. 299 of 1980 Art. 6)
To the Homeowner:
*If you have more than $600 worth of work done (Materials PLUS Labor) you MUST hire a State Licensed Contractor-IT'S THE LAW!*

If you sign a contract with an LLC the LLC must have a secondary business license or they are considered "unlicensed" by MI law.

Demand to see the contractors license "Pocket Card". A Licensed contractor is required to have his card on him at all times while working. If you get excuses, get a NEW contractor!
